This workshop will comprise a mix of lecture content and group exercises designed to help attendees who are not familiar with formulations for children to understand the considerations involved in designing and choosing appropriate dosage forms for this important demographic. At the end of the workshop, you will have gained or reinforced an understanding of the factors/strategies that need to be considered when designing formulations for children and will have drawn upon your formulation skill. It will be suitable for attendees who have little or no appreciation of what is involved in pharmaceutical product formulation as a brief introduction will be given. However, the main target audience for this session will be formulators who are new to paediatric product formulation and want to deepen their knowledge in this field of expertise.
