Development of Nanocrystal Suspensions for Oral and Injectable Drug Products

Zielsetzung

Nanocrystal suspensions are mature nano drug delivery systems, widely used in industry and developed for oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous and ocular administration^1,2. This formulation principle enables enhanced bioavailability, reduction of administered volume, prolongation of drug release, and is striving for e.g. improved efficacy and safety, patient compliance, access to unmet needs and product competitiveness. This international seminar guides formulators, product developers and project leaders through the most recent understanding of the in-vivo behavior, side-effects, formulation and process development, and the design of commercial manufacturing processes and their control. Expect insightful presentations and a dynamic exchange with senior experts from academia, pharmaceutical industry and contract development and manufacturing organizations.
