Description

Conference is built up out of three session topics

  • Regulatory perspective on continuous manufacturing
  • Quality and PAT
  • Particle engineering

OBJECTIVES

  • Learn about the current regulatory perspective on CM from health authorities and from industrial point of view
  • Learn about the approaches for control strategies in continuous manufacturing from different pharmaceutical companies
  • Learn about the impact of particle engineering of APIs and excipients on CM
  • Visit the Pfizer CM plant in Freiburg and learn about their PCMM (Portable-Continuous-Miniature-Modular) approach
  • Exchange ideas at the posters and table tops

FACILITY TOUR TO PFIZER:

  • First 40 participants will have the opportunity of a costless visit to the Pfizer CM facility!
  • Accomplishment of the lab visit is dependent on environmental influences.
  • Please note that due to competition reasons, individual participants may be excluded from the factory tour.
  • Our service for you
    We provide transfers from the Stadthotel Freiburg to the Pfizer company plant.

Call for papers for poster presentations

The abstract should be prepared using Microsoft Word as one A4 page typed in Times New Roman, font size 12. 
Deadline for abstract submission: 30 November 2019. 
Please submit your abstracts by e-mail to Martin Bornhöft: mb@apv-mainz.de.
You will be notified of acceptance of your paper by December 2019.
