Dear Colleagues,

The European Paediatric Formulation Initiative (EuPFI) will see the return of in-person annual
conference for the fi rst time since the pandemic along with virtual conference with the 14th annual
conference, EuPFI 2022, taking place in Rome, Italy from 20-22nd September.

The EuPFI Conference is an event dedicated to formulating better medicines for children. It is aimed at creating a common platform for researchers, scientists, and students at the crossroads of drug development and paediatric considerations, to share ideas and innovations, and to facilitate fruitful discussions on recent innovations that will spur advancements in paediatric drug development.

We are delighted that after successfully convening last 2 conferences virtually to keep professionals abreast of developments during the pandemic, we are once again able to meet in person and continue with virtual conference. We are pleased to get back to what we do best by welcoming this important conference. It is a signifi cant moment to be on the cusp of opening our doors to a major conference and, of course, as we return, the health and safety of all attendees and our team is our top priority.

EuPFI 2022 will showcase the recent developments to improve the paediatric medicines landscape and make a positive difference towards addressing the unmet medical needs of children. This is the core focus of our conference.
