This conference is intended for professionals/scientists working in: Research/ Development and Formulation Department, Regulatory Affairs Department, Project Management and QA Department as well as Risk Management Department. The online meeting is also intended for members of regulatory authorities.
Objective
APV and IPEC Europe are delighted to invite you to our online conference on “Titanium dioxide”. The online meeting will focus on hot topics with a special focus on titanium dioxide and nanoparticles. The recent ban of TiO2 (E171) as a food additive in Europe has highlighted the need for a comprehensive understanding of the global regulatory environment regarding the presence of nanoparticles in food additives and excipients. The use of TiO2 in pharmaceuticals is currently under consideration in the EU. There are no specific safety concerns scientifically demonstrated for E171 and the current ban in food is based on the precautionary principle and some uncertainties related to genotoxicity
